«Jazz e non solo» on the Versilia coast, four appointments left with International music over 13 days. Piazza san Bernardino, in Camaiore (Lucca), the notes of artists who have made the history of jazz (and beyond) smooth through hot summer nights from the 20 July to the 2 August. A journey into stimulating and interesting modern jazz situations and the contaminations by different languages of sound.
High-sounding names and great performers have already been on the Camaiore scene: from Joshua Redman to Richard Galliano, Uri Caine and Gato Barbieri, as well as most recently the Tuscany (Chicago) Underground Orchestra
On the 23rd of July Music for six musicians, Don Byron’s explosive and captivating clarinet between revisited Latin and Caribbean rhythms.
Michael Moore trio, where Michael Moore dedicates the evening of the 26th of July to legendary music maestro Bob Dylan with «The music of Bob Dylan».
The programme of the seventh edition of «Jazz e non solo» continues in its vitality of sound combining novelty and show, on the 30th of July with the presence on the piazza san Bernardino stage of the Charles Lloyd quartet. A synthesis of oriental and western music influences stirs the melodies of the legendary saxophonist and jazzman.
The last appointment on the program, Friday 2nd of August with Francesco Mancini Septet, the Italian pianist offering a repertoire of Mediterranean music directing his «Septet» of Italian jazz artists.
All concerts will start at 2130; tickets cost 13 euro, except for the Don Byron and Charles Lloyd quartet concerts which are 15 euro. Presales on the Box Office circuit.
