The farm Fattoria Cerreto Libri rises a few kilometres from Florence, resting in the tranquillity of the hills surrounding the Tuscan capital and immersed in long lines of vineyards, olive fields and bright green of woods and cypresses.
The ancient dwelling, built in 1792, is in the municipality of Pontassieve. Today, after architectural interventions full respecting the original structure, the villas is transformed in a holiday farm that can offer characteristic apartments for holiday weeks.
Next to the main structure of the Villa, the farmer's old dwelling, there is the family chapel and just a little removed the small village made up of colony lodgings.
The wide and spacious apartment maintains its Tuscan country house characteristics unaltered, so you even find the old bread oven; three double rooms, a kitchen and a living room. Outside there is a garden, offering beautiful Lebanon cedars and lime trees, and excellent summer respite from heat, or, more simply, a space to appreciate the peace and silence you can breathe in the air.
Also available is produce directly cultivated in the farm, which applies organic - dynamic farming, therefore using no chemical substances. Weekly stays go from a minimum of 750 euro to a maximum of 1033 during the summer period.
Fattoria Cerreto Libri is about 15 Kilometres from Florence, 60 from Arezzo and less than 100 kilometres from the Tuscan coast and Pisa; it is therefore an ideal starting point to reach many cities of art in the region and its coast.
