For everyone who doesn’t settle for a holiday just in itself, in Villafranca di Lunigiana, province of Massa Carrara a few kilometres from the Alpi Apuane and the Tyrrhenian coast, holiday farm Ca’ Sola offers a time of relaxation as well as «creative holiday».
Angelo Toralbo and Annabel Ross, owners of the farm stay, have “designed” this definition for Ca’ Sola, which offers on one hand painting courses for beginners and experts, but also sport holidays with the possibility to choose between relaxing or invigorating (both for the body and the mind) horseback holidays.
Annabel Ross will teach the most diverse painting techniques: from aquarelle to sculpture, from acquaforte to trompe l’oeuil until pencil drawing with afternoon courses immersed in the landscapes and views of this splendid part of the Lunigiana, between castles, fortresses and medieval villages.
If instead you prefer a holiday on the go, Ca’ Sola has some horses so that you can choose between short walks of a few hours or entire days spent in the green of this area of Tuscany, followed by a federal horse-tourism instructor. Horses are ridden English-style and English-Arabian, thoroughbreds and ponies are available, the latter for the younger riders.
An independent house with 7 beds and a 4 place apartment offer hospitality in every period of the year, with an average cost of 16 euro per person and the use of pool and mountain bikes. Finally, Ca’ Sola can offer a holiday to your great four legged friend too, as it offers comfortable box and paddocks for horses.
