In a continued alternation of lush and artistic landscapes among Romanic churches and bridges, medieval villages and small country churches, in the municipality of Terranuova Bracciolini, on the Pratomagno hillsides and along the wine road Terre di Arezzo rises the holiday farm Campo di Monte.
Three apartments, a single bedroom flat , plus two 5 places lodgings, are pleasantly furnished as well as having a lovely fireplace inside the kitchen-lounge. Each apartment also has its own external space where, during the summer and in mild evenings, you can have dinner or taste wine produced by the Campo di Monte farm.
Stefano Mantellini, the owner of the holiday farm, cultivates and produces extra virgin oil, chianti Docg wine and white and red Igt wine as well as organising tastings and guided tours through the 7 hectares of vineyards that surround the farm.
If you prefer to indulge in a bit of sport, around Campo di Monte you can easily reach a horse-riding centre, a pool, or alternatively, you can choose to go for a relaxing walk in the Bandella nature park among squirrels, porcupines and pheasants who roam freely throughout the protected area.
Otherwise you can depart to the discovery of Tuscany choosing the closest destinations such as Arezzo (20 minutes by car) where the first Sunday of the month the famous antique market is held; the Casentino area and San Gimignano; or with a longer tour reach Siena or Florence, the Tyrrhenian coast and vist Pisa, Viareggio and Lucca.
