«Itinerari d'arte e cultura», is the title of this festival edition, alternating moments of music, dance and theatre with the double homage to Marco Baliani (28 and 29 July), and Claudio Moranti presenting two texts by Pinter.

Then there is the new dramaturgy with the extraordinary repeat performance of Garage Olimpo and the preview presentation of the film «L'ultima stagione» at the theatre Astrusi di Montalcino (16 August). Still in Montalcino Frankestein Food (7 August) and closing the festival, the 18 August, the Tuscan preview of «Senso»: a homage to Luchino Visconti by Luca de Bei.

The Festival della Val d'Orcia is also music: a journey through cultures and worlds that are removed in time and space, among traditional and innovative sounds. So we go from the concert of Armenian musician Djivan Gasparyan to rock music mixed with Southern World popular tradition with the Gang band (13 August) and Tenores di Bitti (14 August) sounds. But also jazz in Bagno Vignoni's stunning scenery with Saxpence (15 August); Lucilla Galeazzi in San Quirico d'Orcia (6 August) and Ilaria Patassini, one of world music's most promising voices (12 agosto).

We also cannot forget the workshops that will take place during the festival: «Terre di racconti», a seacrh through local tradition with two performances the 9th and 10th of August, respectively in Vivo d'Orcia and Radicofani. The second laboratory is organised by the dance group «Effetto Parallelo» who give rise to some "Incursioni" between music and dance with an exhibition the 17 August in the Fortress of Radicofani.
