Florence at hand
The city of Florence, at hand, just a read away. The Municipality of the Tuscan city has published four booklets to make the city more useable for tourists and Florentines themselves who, through the four guides, will be able to access all the information they need to discover the city.
A guide dedicated to restaurants in Florence in four languages (Italian, English, French and German) where the beauty of 162 businesses are described, with the indication of the average price, number of places, maximum availability for groups and, in particular, the type of cuisine.
There is also a guide to services that are essential to tourists (in Italian and English) where information can be found regarding reception, transportation, post and telecommunication services, as well as health and safety services.
There is also a Courtesy point, a booklet born of the tight collaboration of 58 public services that offer their assistance, with adequate quality levels, to the city’s customer-tourist. The booklet has a map with all the courtesy points. Finally there is the guide with the hygienic facilities of the Municipality of Florence, designed for excursionist tourist-customers.
The guides will be distributed free of charge in the tourist information centres of the Municipality but there will also be copies in the main foreign university sites. The consulates, hotels, museums and places of greater tourist flow. Within the end of the year they will be searchable online as well.
