   Tuscany style
Italian fashion needs no introduction in haute couture's International markets, a growing number of showrooms is inaugurated in the great world metropolises: from the States to the Far East Italian designers invade the market.

Models walk International fashion catwalks in Paris, London and New York, wearing the class, the flair and the creative genius of Italian designer clothes. And speaking of Italian Style we must also speak of "Tuscany style", a region in which some of the major designers of Italian fashion have their headquarters, whether historical or "up-and-coming", they all follow an exponential growth.

And when we speak of Tuscan brands, the first historical one dates back to 1921 when Guccio Gucci opened in Florence his first suitcase and horse-riding items craftsman shop. Only about ten years later shops open in Rome and Milan and the first showroom in America in 1953 in Manhattan, thus consecrating the designer label Gucci among the pioneers of Italian Style abroad.

The Ferragamo label has a peculiar history. The maison is founded in 1927 by Salvatore Ferragamo - originally from Irpinia - who, once back in Italy, establishes himself in Florence where he opens in the Spini Ferroni Palace - the one that still today is the brand's headquarters - his first shop. The decision is encouraged by a positive experience in Hollywood in the creation and production of shoes models for cinema stars and important public figures. Today, the Ferragamo label is known throughout the world, not just for its clothing but also for its collections of suitcases, perfumes and eyeglasses.

And to speak of those less historical labels - simply out of a pure reference to the founding year of the maison - we can speak of the explosive and innovative Roberto Cavalli, a pure-blood Florentine who arrives on International fashion catwalks with clothing and then expands his maison's offer looking at furniture as well.
