A month in music, the one Siena faces form the 8 to the 23rd August in the majestic amphitheatre of the Medicean Fortress. A programme filled with appointments with a number of varied concerts.
Starting Siena's long musical marathon, Thursday 8th August, directly from Turin, the band Subsonica is on tour to promote their new album «Amoreantico». The following day the stage of the Siena Amphitheatre will see the composer of the famous music for the film by Kustarica «Underground»: Goran Bregovich (in the picture).
The 13th of August at the city's amphitheatre Vasco Rossi's only true tribute band: Combriccola del Blasco. From music we move onto a lively show, which returns by large request after last year's success; 19th of August we'll see Sabina Guzzanti's recital.
Three more days of music to end the programme of the amphitheatre: the 20th of August Vinicio Capossela goes on stage. And then a dive into the past, an evening with the music that got more than a generation dancing, with Edoardo Vianello and his classic hully gully, on stage the 21st of August. The event ends with the energetic, strong and charismatic music of the Modena City Ramblers the 23rd of August.
