A night of stars and magic, a night of flavours among luminous streaks marked by shooting stars: on the 10th of August, the night of San Lorenzo, a date that stands for its shooting stars, Tuscany perfumes itself with the scents of Bacchus' nectars giving life to «Calici di Stelle».
The Wine tourism movement in collaboration with the association Cittą del vino promotes for another year a night dedicated to admiring the immensity of the celestial vault tasting the wines produced in the Tuscan lands. Alleys and lanes, roads and squares light up with the same light of the sky to make wine lovers dream yet another night.
The promise of «Calici di stelle» is therefore that of spending a night in the name of wine and entertainment, with various events that will alternate in the squares and roads of cities that participate in the Cittą del vino association.
But edition 2002 goes beyond, as Calice di stelle also reaches the cellars of wine producers that will open the doors to their enological «caveaus» to all visitors, as also happens for some businesses associated with the Costa degli Etruschi Wine Road.
An unforgettable night between tasting of local products, dance shows, music and poetry. Many municipalities of Tuscany in all the region's provinces will be taking part in the stars and wine nights.
