Summer in Radicondoli
The buildings, the roads and the medieval squares of the Municipality of Radicondoli, in the province of Siena, from 26 July to 14 August host the festival «Estate a Radicondoli», in the theme of dance and theatre, mainly, but also music and poetry.
Created almost as a game, the association Radicondoli Arte promotes this year also, for the 16th edition, the festival that promises an intense summer of cultural appointments. In the foreground dance more or less attached to the theatre with very interesting names: Alessandro Certini's Kinkaleri and Company Blů, who are already well known and other groups like Secondo Taglio, Florence Dance, Adarte, Giardino Chiuso, and from Pisa Sacchi di Sabbia who are starting to get known. Also the students of the Balletto di Toscana, solitary performers Leonardo Capuano and Leone Barilli.
From dance to theatre with Paolo Hendel's recital, his cutting irony and his missiles against the state of affairs in our republic; Carlo Monni also returns to Radicondoli, with Paolo Hendel he will be reading some excerpts from the book that collects, for the first time, a century of history of Tuscan comedians: from the popular "vernacolo" through the Giancattivi and Benigni.
And then still Tuscan theatre-dance with the Zermrude group; theatre-poetry with the Dante show concert "A riveder le stelle" by Marco Andriolo and Galatea Ranzi, until the civil theatre of the Belgian group residing in Tuscany, Teatro Azione and finally the music theatre «Arca Azzurra» with «L'ultimo sogno di Lorenzo Da Ponte».
