This past November the prose theatre season opened in Arezzo. And this year posters present a programme intended to satisfy not only the "habitué", but also the "neophytes", those who represent surely the most numerous audience, many of whom young, who are just starting to approach the world of theatre.

Under this perspective the Petrarca, Bicchieraia and Ragazzi theatres host works of great directors such as Strehler, Nekrosius and Lievi and just as many resounding names of actors that will perform on the stage of the three famous theatres: from Ivana Monti to Ottavia Piccolo, and then Giorgio Albertazzi, Giulio Bosetti and Luigi di Filippo just to mention a few.

A season organised and programmed with care by the Assessorship to Culture of the Municipality of Arezzo and the artistic direction: the theatre posters, in fact, will not show any clashes in the shows thus avoiding interference in the overall theatre programming.

There will also be reductions and facilitations for students, young people until 25, people over sixty and Youth card possessors registered with the Arezzo Municipality. Card-holders of theatre and culture associations can also benefit. Finally, to promote the most ancient art of representation, reductions will be conceded to employees of all the companies who have contributed as sponsors for the creation of the theatre season.
