   Arbitration desk for tourism
Created in Florence by an initiative of the Chamber of commerce, of the Azienda di Promozione Turistica and the Province of Tuscan capital, a desk for the public: an arbitration desk specialised in the tourism sector.

This service, for the various tourists whom every year visit Florence and its province, will deal with problems and controversies which often arise between the consumer and sector operators (both travel agents and tour operators) on the whole provincial district.

The objective of a arbitration desk is that of offering the tourist professional guidance, guaranteed by a representative of the Chamber of Commerce, to solve controversies even when the visitor returns to his or her home Country.

All procedures will be monitored by a representative of the chamber of Commerce expert in the tourist sector who will have the duty to find a satisfying agreement for both parties, thus reaching a conciliatory  report  that acts as a contract between the parties.

The arbitration desk guarantees resolution of controversies in a short time, a maximum of sixty days starting from the moment in which the procedure was started, and also decreases costs to solve cases.
