Andrea Slitti: "Mastro cioccolatiere"
In Monsummano Terme, since 1969, exists the "Torrefazione di Caffè" of the Slitti family, which young Andrea transformed, in 1988, in "Cioccolateria".
Andrea Slitti’s imagination and creativity have gone beyond Tuscany’s and Italy’s borders, in fcat in 1994 he won the "Grand Prix International de la chocolaterie" in Paris (the greatest world competition dedicated to chocolate) also, the "The Chocolat Companion" guide of Chantal Coady place shim among the first ten chocolate makers in the world.
Among Andrea Slitti’s gourmet creations, there are blocks of white, milk, bitter and extra bitter chocolate, chocolate cakes with hazelnuts, almonds, puffed rice, assorted pralines, dragees, hazelnut creams to spread on the bread and other delicious delicacies.
Andrea Slitti’s products are on sale in the Monsummano shop (0572 64.02.40) and in select patisseries in Italy and abroad.
