The floors are in ceramic and the wooden beams of the roof are made of chestnut wood. Some apartments have a chimney.
For those with a passion for nature and art, the area offers a multitude of nature paths that can explored by foot, mountain bike or by horseback. Some of these paths, such as the Francigena, are historically important, but even the less known paths permit the visitor to enjoy the extraordinary views of San Gimignano, Volterra, Casole, Montaione, Barberino, Val d'Elsa, Colle Val d'Elsa and Siena.
